Set in the untamed wilderness of the Utah desert, Aman’s new Camp Sakira by Amangiri has pitched 10 luxury, tented pavilions. But, this is not camping as you know it.

Unlike your average dome tent set up, each of the tented pavilions comes with a private plunge pool. Opening in April 2020, the camp will also feature its own restaurant, two spa suites, one main swimming pool and a jacuzzi.

Just a 30-minute hike or five-minute drive from the Amangiri resort, the camp will also offer guests full access to the resort’s facilities. And yet, when your tent features one or two bedrooms, a living area, a dining space, a bar and a private terrace with a fire pit and heated plunge pool, will you really need to leave the desert?

And, no one need go hungry at this desert setting: the on-site restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, snacks and afternoon tea. Vegans and vegetarians will be well catered to will the restaurant’s use of fresh local produce.

Spa therapies at the camp have been inspired by the land’s traditional Navajo wellness practices, and will be complimented by yoga and guided meditations. Adventurers can also partake in horse riding, canyoneering, hiking and more.
