Hanging out for pay day to book your next flights? From next year, you won't have to wait.

Good news for people who feel the need to upend their desks and get out of town at a moment’s notice, even though their bank account indicates they only have enough funds to walk downstairs: Virgin Australia has announced it will soon allow guests to fly now and pay later with LatitudePay.

Not-so-savvy-savers rejoice: as long as your flight is under $1,000, you can pay for your flight later over ten weekly payments with no interest. It also means you can snap up sale flights before payday comes around. The feature will become a new payment option on the airline’s website when customers purchase flights online.

The platform, LatitudePay, launched just over one month ago and will be available to Virgin Australia customers from the first half of 2020.

And, for those feeling further afar, an interest-free instalment option will also be made available to customers purchasing flights that cost more than $1,000 later next year.
