Your sprawling villa awaits.

Villa Rocca delle Tre Contrade sits high on a hilltop of scenic Sicily, and is the picturesque backdrop of an immersive culinary experience hosted by renowned chef Christian Puglisi.

After a previous sold-out winter course, the chef is returning from 25 April to 2 May 2020, to host an Italian experience no self-respecting food lover will want to miss.

Having worked in the kitchens of El Bulli and Noma, before launching certified organic, Michelin-starred restaurant Relæ, in Copenhagen, Puglisi will now be sharing his skills in the land of his ancestors.

During the trip, a series of workshops and masterclasses will be hosted by Puglisi and his restaurant team. Guests will learn to bake sourdough and other breads, make cheese from scratch, cook Italian-style seafood, and learn about the art of charcuterie and low-intervention wines.

Guests will also meet a local farmer who saved the rare Nebrodi black pig from extinction, and partake in foraging, lemon harvest, street food sampling and vermouth preparation.

The twelve-room villa on Sicily’s East Coast (with views of Mt Etna and the Ionian Sea) is home to a large demonstration kitchen where guests will learn Puglisi’s tricks of the trade. It also houses lemon groves, fruit orchards, vegetable gardens, an infinity pool, tennis courts and a spa area.

The one-week course is bookable exclusively through The Thinking Traveller and costs from €5,950 per person (based on two sharing) including all meals, accommodation and transfers. To book, visit thethinkingtraveller.com/puglisi.
