QT Newcastle: the hotel rooms & suites
The interiors, curated by designer Nic Graham with the EVENT Hospitality & Entertainment Design Team, celebrate the city’s stunning waterfront surrounds, as well as its coal mining history.

Worth noting is the yet-to-be-unveiled Clock Suite: a unique light-filled suite hidden within the building’s iconic dome and clock face.

With sweeping harbour views, an extravagant emerald green designer bathroom, luxuriously oversized bathtub and its namesake ticking centrepiece in pride of place, the suite is certain to become one of the city’s most sought-after spots.

Signature restaurant Jana will serve up an approachable, produce-led menu showcasing the region’s premium ingredients.

With a premium steak selection sourced entirely from New South Wales, the warmth of an open kitchen and a dry-aged meat cabinet, the elevated bar and grill will feature a private dining room, eye-catching artwork and wines from Hunter Valley icon – and QT wine partner – Tyrrell’s.

Named for the ancient Roman goddess of the moon, who is represented with two faces, one facing the past and one the present, Jana looks set to artfully balance new world charm and old world hospitality.
