The food festival 65,000 years in the making returns to Kakadu for ten days of culinary celebrations in May.
From May 22–31, the Northern Territory’s annual Taste of Kakadu celebration will bring its ten-day program of food frivolity back to Kakadu National Park.
During the gourmet getaway, the naturally beautiful landscape belonging to the Bininj/Mungguy people will form the backdrop to a series local-inspired food events.

This year’s calendar is set to include pop-up degustation dinners, campfire stories, cooking demonstration with Traditional Owners, guided bush tucker walks, traditional brunches, sunset tasting cruises and hunting and gathering talks.

Those planning to learn more about the indigenous ingredients and cooking methods of the region will require a park pass to enter Kakadu National Park. Once inside, guests will have access to free and paid events.

To book, visit the festival’s website.
