Matching donations dollar for dollar, The Intrepid Foundation – a not-for-profit entity run by the popular tour and travel company Intrepid – has launched a bushfire crisis appeal.

During its appeal to raise much-needed funds for the Red Cross Bushfire Emergency Appeal, the foundation will match all funds donated by travellers (up to $200,000) in aid of people in evacuation centres in Victoria and New South Wales.

“Like the rest of the country, Intrepid stands in solidarity with communities who are being directly affected and we encourage people to donate to the fund so their dollars are matched by us,” says James Thornton, CEO of Intrepid Group.
