How far will you travel for good food?

Going the distance for gourmet experiences is one thing, but taking a deep nose-dive into the food scene of a far-flung destination is quite another. Webjet has just announced the launch of its all-new foodie tours, which take food lovers on an immersive journey of a destination’s cuisine.

“Food is a top driver of why people love to travel and the destinations they choose. However, many food tours aren’t typically designed for first timers to a destination – so we aim to fill that gap” says Webjet Exclusives’ General Manager, Brendan Sawyers.

Naturally, between meals, a dappling of cultural experiences will be on offer – think visiting the Taj Mahal, Halong Bay or the sites of Morroco – and yet, food will be the focus. Each tour will include at least six culinary experiences, including cooking classes, brewery visits, dining at restaurants, exploring local markets and more.

“One highlight of our 12 Day Exotic India Food tour is a Bengali degustation at Bomti Iyengar which is a secret apartment that dates back to 1901. Your host will make you feel at home in this historical property while you enjoy some fantastic local authentic dishes.” Sawyers continued.

All Webjet Exclusives Foodie tours include flights, accommodation, an expert English-speaking guide, on-the-ground transport, specialised culinary experiences and more.
