Wherefore art thou Romeo?
In a world first, Airbnb will open the door to Juliet’s House in Verona, Italy, to a modern-day Romeo and Juliet to stay on Valentine’s Day. Leonardo DiCaprio not included.
The house, Casa di Giulietta, the imagined home of the Shakespearian character, features the balcony where Juliet’s ‘wherefore art thou Romeo’ soliloquy took place.

This Valentine’s Day, one couple will get the chance to stay for one night and enjoy a meal cooked by a two-Michelin-starred chef, Giancarlo Perbellini, in a special candlelit setting.
This, romantics, is a competition where one winner and their partner will be given access to the 14th-century home, which has been transformed into a luxurious stay. The winning couple will also spend the night in the original bed used in Zeffirelli’s classic 1960s movie Romeo and Juliet and be able to read Juliet’s love letters.

Also included in the prize is a private tour of Verona, known by many as the city of love.
How do you enter? Eligible applicants must write a letter to Juliet sharing their own love story to explain why they and their loved one would be perfect guests.

Entries can be submitted at airbnb.com/juliet until 11:59pm EST on 2 February 2020. Rules apply.
