Don't let the ghosts and the ghouls disturb you, dear.

“Sydney is such a ghost town.” Well, yeah! And we couldn’t be more excited about it! Coming this Halloween, The Rocks will transform into a fully immersive spooky space for a four-day Ghost Festival.

The famously haunted district will become the scene of all things ghoulish, with ghost sightings on every corner and monsters lurking in shadows.

By day, the Halloween Two-Faced Market will be a lively and charming destination of food, ghostly wares, curses, and history.

When the sun goes down, grab your sage and explore the sinister underbelly of The Rocks where reality blurs with the supernatural. The dark and fascinating laneways will lead you on a nightmarish journey where theatre group “Deadhouse” will tell tales of the ghosts, murders and haunts of the district.

The Tallowoladah Lawn in front of the Museum of Contemporary Art will play host to a supernatural dance floor with the Silent Zombie Disco Party. By day, the space resembles a chaotic Zombieland, complete with eerie soundscapes and undead-themed installations that bring the world of zombies to life. By night, the lawn will change into a thrilling undead party, where zombie dancers take over the night under a haunting moonlit sky.

Become part of the pack on a 1.5km walk through The Rocks and Circular Quay during the free New Orleans-inspired carnival of creatures, costumes, and haunting pageantry.

Get lost in the Haunted Woods at First Fleet Park, where 22 eerie wood cabins will draw you into the food and drinks hub of the Festival. Feast on devilishly delicious bites and sip on wickedly inventive drinks – served in blood bags – while navigating a labyrinth of ghostly sounds, flickering lights, and towering props designed to keep you on edge.
