This weekend escape presents a visual (and literal) feast.
For those whom visual appeal is a foremost consideration when planning where to stay on a weekend away (after food options, naturally), this new Palm Beach accommodation is bound to pique your aesthetic interests.

The Boathouse Group’s newest offering, Barrenjoey House in Palm Beach is now open for business. And by business, we mean relaxing.

Seven spacious rooms have opened in the heritage-listed building, alongside a new restaurant, all of which have been beautifully refurbished.

The decor takes its cue from the surrounding coastal landscape, with shell-adorned mirrors, coral pieces and a sea-inspired colour palette. But this is no Changing Rooms-style beach-themed decor – Barrenjoey’s interiors are nothing short of sophisticated chic. And, artwork by local artists are displayed throughout the restaurant and accommodation.

Guests can rest in style upstairs, and head downstairs for lunch or dinner. The restaurant’s menu naturally draws on its picturesque seaside setting, featuring a fresh, seafood-centred menu served in a relaxed environment.
