This 1896-built structure has been brought back to life in the form of a chic boutique hotel in Orange, New South Wales.
Set in the heart of great wine, delicious produce and fresh air country, a former family home has become the setting for a boutique hotel in Orange. And, despite its aged facade, its inside tells a contemporary story.

Today, the 22-room Byng Street Boutique Hotel is dappled with artworks by Lara Scolari, a bold use of colour, playful patterns and textures, and carefully reclaimed elements that breathe new life into the historic site.

Rooms are set across a Heritage Wing and a Modern Wing, offering guests a choice of old-world charm, or modern sophistication.

A private garden offers guests a space for quiet reprieve, while a welcoming dining room – named The Yallungah Dining Room – serves up a la carte breakfast dishes that highlight the best in Orange’s local produce each morning.
