The Whitsundays is stepping its luxury accommodation offerings up a notch.

If a Whitsundays getaway is on your 2019 agenda, we have some good news: the Hayman Island by InterContinental is now taking bookings. From 1 July, guests will be welcomed to the 400-hectare private island where 166 luxury rooms await holidaymakers.

A significant refurbishment of the island’s resort ensures a luxury stay for those touching down on the island’s shores. Alongside the enticing accommodation, top-notch restaurants, bars, a day spa and event spaces will see more visitors revisiting this Tropical North Queensland destination.

In fact, five new restaurants will purvey the fresh flavours of the destination via contemporary menus. Naturally, among the offerings will be a poolside dining locale.

Secluded swimming spots, seaplane rides giving passengers views of the Great Barrier Reef, jet ski adventures and plenty of other activities on offer means there’s something for every traveller on the island. And, there’s be a kids club and fitness centre available too.
