One of Sydney's most stylish boutique hotels has just upped the ante, again.
A hotel so chic it could easily rest on its laurels, Chippendale’s The Old Clare has just raised the bar for Sydney stays once again with its new wing of guest rooms.

On December 12, The Old Clare Hotel opened its newly renovated wing, which previously housed the Silvereye restaurant. Now, seven Art Deco-inspired rooms have emerged in time for summer staycations.

New cast iron bathtubs are a feature in each new room, as are Arietti stonework and original art deco fixtures. And, the Design Hotel’s 62 pre-existing rooms have been revisited too.

The renovation was imagined by Hüppauf Chesterman Architects, while curators from Sherman Centre for Culture and Ideas decorated the new wing of the hotel with contemporary pieces by First Nations and Australian artists including Greg Semu and Shaun Gladwell.

The new rooms can be booked via theoldclarehotel.com.au, and start at $299 per night.
