Shiraz-infused wine facials, fine dining and delightful views are all part of the Mount Lofty House experience.
Shrouded by abundant forest and the billowing landscape of this ever-growing wine region, Mount Lofty House is a hidden gem in the Adelaide Hills. Now, following a $6 million refurbishment, the photogenic setting just stepped up to a new level of sophistication.

For 167 years, this spacious homestead has welcomed in guests seeking a breath of fresh air in the sprawling hillside, alongside delicious food and expertly prepared cocktails.

The property, filled to the brim with old-fashioned charm, was built by Arthur Hardy in 1852. The refurbishment of this five-star hotel has seen its 32 guest rooms, restaurant, bar and shared spaces given new life.

This year, 14 all-new luxury suites will open on the 30-acre property under the name Sequoia.
An enticing selection of dishes, and an awe-inspiring views of the Piccadilly Valley and Adelaide Hills vineyards, are set to draw epicureans into the fine-dining restaurant, Hardy’s Veranda. At the helm is executive chef Jin Choi.

And, those needing to unwind can book in for treatments at the Stables Day Spa – try the wine-lovers’ Vina Rejuvinating Facial that combines shiraz, grape seek and resveratrol to refresh the skin – followed by cocktails in the well-equipped bar, Arthur Waterhouse.
