Don't let yours go to waste.

Last year, the NSW government announced that their Dine and Discover voucher program would be extended until 30 June 2022, giving residents extra time to use their vouchers.

With that deadline rapidly approaching, we’ve rounded up all the ways you can use yours below.

As a reminder, the $100 NSW Dine and Discover vouchers were split across two categories: two $25 vouchers for use on entertainment, arts and cultural experiences, and two $25 vouchers to spend on dining.

Where can I use my NSW Dine and Discover vouchers?

NSW Dine and Discover vouchers can be used 7 days a week at any participating NSW business, which is registered as COVID Safe.

The two $25 Dine NSW vouchers can be used at restaurants, cafes, bars, pubs, clubs and wineries, along with takeaway food outlets.

The two $25 Discover NSW vouchers can be used for entertainment purposes, for example: films and movies, stargazing experiences, gourmet food tours, beer tastings, pop-up picnics, waterparks, jet boating, escape rooms, paintball and whale watching tours.

From surfing lessons in Manly to hot air ballooning in the Hunter Valley, helicopter tours of Sydney Harbour or a luxury staycation in Mollymook… the possibilities are endless!

Some businesses are still discounting their prices to match the $25 voucher, or doubling the value of the vouchers.

Where can I use NSW Dine and Discover vouchers in Sydney?

If you’re based in Sydney, you might consider ticking a few things off your local bucket list. Iconic Sydney experiences like BridgeClimb, Sea Life Aquarium, Sydney Tower Eye, High Tea at The Tearoom QVB, Scenic World in Katoomba, Madame Tussauds, Sydney Harbour Tall Ships, Featherdale Wildlife Park, and even Palm Beach’s iconic Home & Away location tour are all accepting Discover NSW vouchers.

On top of that, there’s loads of theatres, galleries, museums, dance companies and art house cinemas to boot. And plenty of incredible Sydney and regional NSW hotels have created Discover NSW packages, which are well worth putting your vouchers towards.

NSW Dine and Discover business finder

The Service NSW website provides a searchable database of eligible businesses, so you can check what’s available in your area.

However, because it operates based on what you type in, it can only show you what you already know exists.

If you’re keen to explore the full extent of the possibilities, take advantage of searchable tour operations like Red Balloon, Adrenaline and Kloox who’ve collected some of the best in one handy place.

Although, once you find an experience you like, it’s important to do your best to book directly with the operator, hotel or venue, rather than through a third party, to ensure that they receive the full benefit (without paying a commission elsewhere.)
