Budgie smugglers at the ready! The bustling beach soiree, headlined by the Pussycat Dolls’ Nicole Scherzinger, took over Bondi for Sydney WorldPride earlier this year. And now it’s making a proud comeback on Saturday, February 24 2024 as part of the glittering Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras 2024 program.

The full glitzy line-up will run across Sydney from Friday, February 16 to Sunday, March 3. Next years theme is looking ahead, encouraging visitors of all kinds to reflect on ‘Our Future’.

“In 2024, we embrace our roots and look forward with eager anticipation to our future,” says Sydney Mardi Gras CEO Gil Beckwith. “Our mission is clear: to echo the voices of our communities, to champion progress and instigate impactful change.”

Other returning events include Fair Day (Sunday, February 18), Kaftana Pool Party (Wednesday, February 21), Ballroom Australia’s Sissy Ball (Saturday, February 24) and, of course, the legendary Oxford Street parade (Saturday, March 2). For our fabulous foodies, Darlo Big Drag Brunch will be taking over Oxford Street and surrounds on Saturday, February 24 – the perfect way to kick off your Bondi Beach Party day.

Sadly, there’s no word yet on a special celebrity guest, if any, for the 2024 parade. Past celebs have included Cher, Sam Smith and our very own Kylie Minogue. Our hearts Padam Padam in anticipation of the big reveal.

Tickets across all events will be made available for purchase from Monday, November 20.
