Prep your food festival pants.
After a four-year hiatus, Taste Port Douglas will make its return to the sunshine state from October 7-10.
The four-day festival in Queensland’s dreamy Port Douglas is the first in a series of tasty events to look forward to this year, with a string of Sheraton summer events planned for Melbourne, Sydney, and the Gold Coast later in the year.

Some of Australia’s leading chefs are already on board, including Ben Williamson, Massimo Mele, Alanna Sapwell and Laura Sharrad, with Spencer Patrick of Harrisons, Port Douglas taking the lead.
Among the highlights, the crave-worthy Port Douglas Long Lunch, which features delights from four top local restaurants in collaboration with prominent Queensland chefs Dominique Rizzo, Jake Nicolson and Philip Johnson.
