And, let’s be honest, who hasn’t done a spot of real-estate window shopping online after watching Grand Designs or Escape to the Country? Our Food Director Phoebe Wood put in the pain-staking research. Here’s what she thought.
The farm
The cottage is situated on a working 65-acre permaculture farm, offering a sublime opportunity for city-dwellers to immerse themselves in nature and unwind from a busy week.

The cottage, which sleeps up to 6 people, is designed for a self-catered getaway, with full access to the kitchen garden, including herbs, vegetables, citrus and fresh eggs from the chicken pen.

The farm is a short drive from local attractions like Kiama blowhole, Minnamurra rainforest, Carrington Falls and Werri beach and just half an hour from Berry, where you can visit South on Albany for lunch, the famous Berry bakery or the Berry doughnut van.
