It's Paperbark Camp's birthday, and you get the gifts.
Australia’s pioneering glamping getaway, Paperbark Camp on New South Wales’ South Coast is about to turn 20. And, to celebrate the April birthday, this Aires is offering guests to the bush-luxe retreat 20 percent off until June – alongside a series of special under-the-stars banquets.
The Jervis Bay eco retreat opened in 1999 – in the same month TLC’s ‘No Scrubs’ was number one on the charts – by Sydney couple Jeremy and Irena Hutchings, who wanted to bring their African safari expereince home. Now, their glamping site continues to be a popular choice for romantic, eco and luxurious escapes.
So what’s the deal? Until June 6, 2019, guests at Paperbark can save 20 percent on two-night midweek stays (Sunday-Thursday). Rates will start at $880 per couple for two nights, and includes dinners, breakfasts, and canoe and paddle board hire.
Between April 27 and May 4, chef Justin North will host a ‘Dinner Under the Starts at Paperbark’, featuring fireside canapes, local wines, brewed beer, and a candlelit banquet the highlights local produce.
