Better yet, these rooms are seriously chic.
The Rees Hotel in Queenstown, New Zealand, has announced the launch of two new packages in time for couples and groups visiting the beautiful city for this year’s LGBTTI+ Winter Pride festival, which runs from August 20 to September 8.
The festival is aimed at bringing locals and visitors together in the name of diversity, inclusion, love, community and visibility – and, last year, it attracted more than 4,500 visitors.
Now The Rees Hotel is offering a package for two, and a package for groups of friends celebrating the occasion.

The package for two is for couples wishing to spend 3 nights in an Executive Lake View Apartment and indulge with a bottle of Surveyor Thomson Pinot Noir on arrival. Then, they can settle down after the Winter Pride festivities and enjoy a 60-minute, in-room couples’ massage with delicious bubbles and chocolates after your massage. Included in the package is return airport transfers, shuttle service around Queenstown, parking and late check out. This package starts from $NZ342.83 per person, per night based on 2 guests.
For groups of six gathering in Queenstown, the package includes bubbles on arrival and immediate views of the Remarkables from the shores of Lake Wakatipu in a private setting for six people in a three-bedroom, three-bathroom Rees Lakeside Residence. There’ll also be a bottle of pinot noir, private tastings and canapes. This package is listed at $NZ455.83 per person, per night (based on 6 guests) or NZ683.75 per person, per night (based on 4 guests).
