And it might just be the coolest travel deal we've seen all year.

In a first-time deal, ultra-luxury cruise line Silversea is flying its guests directly to Antarctica in business class comfort.

Travellers will fly over the Drake Passage, saving four days at sea on the return journey. This means the cruise line’s guests can benefit from shorter, nine-night holiday options, while spending the same amount of time discovering the incredible white continent.

With direct flights from Chile’s Punta Arenas to King George Island, travellers will fly 1,240km over the Drake Passage on a private plane, reserved only for Silversea passengers, with special permission to land on the island.

Departing from December 2021, the collection of 12 flycruise voyages aboard Silver Explorer will further enhance Silversea’s industry-leading, all-inclusive Polar offering. Sales for Antarctica Bridge open on 10 December 2019.
