You could be living in your own private Idaho potato. And its interior will shock you.
We all love the feeling of tucking into a crispy baked potato, but what if you could actually tuck yourself into one? Courtesy of Kristie in Idaho (a passionate micro-property developer) Airbnb is now renting out a giant potato-turned-hotel. In other words: your ideal holiday destination.
You might be surprised to find a luxuriously chic interior, complete with a custom-made bed, coffee nook and even an indoor fireplace. Couple that with free parking, air-conditioning and a private bathroom and you’ve got yourself a pretty sophisticated spud.

Prior to its hosting duties, the potato spent six years on the road celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Idaho Potato Commission. Now, it’s been transported to a 400-acre farm to live out its final days as a starchy vacation destination. It’s location promises total seclusion for guests, with a customised silo inviting you to take a relaxing soak under the stars.

The listing is priced at around $247 a night with bookings already filling up for June. So we suggest booking your trip to the giant tater now.
