Spring not only heralds the arrival of bright spring blooms, picnic season and a linen dress code, but this year it also marks the opening of Bali’s newest boutique hotel, The Clubhouse at Ulu.

And, this waterfront, sister property of Ulu Cliffhouse beach club is a swoon-worthy sight to behold. Our favourite of the stays is swathed head-to-toe in a zen-inducing powder blue, making us question whether millennial pink holds a candle to the newest trending hue on the block.

Each of the Clubhouse’s seven individual rooms at the hotel are distinctly decorated – and each are named for surrounding surf breaks. The playful use of colour throughout the apartment and the 1950s California-style decor is just the beginning of the statements made here. Each clubhouse also comes complete with a cocktail bar and private bartender to expertly prepare those all-important tropical cocktails.
