In case you missed the memo, Japan is one of the most beloved destinations for Aussie travellers.

The latest statistics from Jetstar show that the number of people who have travelled or have booked travel to Japan from Australia on Jetstar in 2024 has nearly doubled from 2023.

And as the Japanese Yen remains low, it’s an excellent time to travel there, as your dollar will go so much further.

The icing on the cake is the new flight sale Japan sale Jetstar just announced today, with one-way fares to Japan going for as little as $249. You’ll be slurping ramen in no time.

Sale fares include:

• Cairns to Osaka (Kansai) from $249
• Cairns to Tokyo (Narita) from $269
• Brisbane to Osaka (Kansai) from $299
• Brisbane to Tokyo (Narita) from $319
• Sydney to Osaka (Kansai) from $329

Travel dates vary per route but include late January to early September 2025, as well as limited seats in November this year. And do keep in mind that those fares don’t include baggage or meals on the flight.

The sale ends at 11.59pm AEDT on Friday November 1, 2024, unless sold out prior (and these cheap Japan fares usually get snapped up super quickly).

Club Jetstar members will have 12 hours exclusive early access from midday today. Travellers can sign up to become a Club Jetstar member at Jetstar.com when making a booking. The current fee to join Club Jetstar is $65. The renewal fee of an existing Club Jetstar member is $55.
