Feel sky high at Bangkok's new 77-storey-high restaurant and bar.
Those seeking a vantage point from which to take in the expanse of Bangkok’s sprawling cityscape can now enjoy lobster rolls and Champagne atop the city’s tallest skyscraper.
The newly opened Mahanakhon Bangkok Skybar (perched on the top of King Power Mahanakhon) is not only a sophisticated watering hole with a view, but a must-try for food lovers too.

On the pans is executive chef Joshua Cameron – previously in the kitchen at New York’s Michelin-Starred Eleven Madison Park – who’s bringing signature dishes such as ‘Uni Panna Cotta’ to diners’ tables. The American-born chef brings a US twist to Asian cuisine: think Thai kaffir-lime-infused cheesecake.
The design is something to write home about too. Interior designer Tristan Auer and his team have created a welcoming, relaxed space with a celebratory air.
A lengthy drinks menu features classic cocktails alongside fine wines and a selection of craft sodas. But the star of the show is the view beyond the site’s large windows.
