This will make you feel better about splurging on your last holiday, trust us.
Those who love to travel will know that lavish holidays, experiences and meals abroad can dwindle through those hard-earned savings with haste. And yet, we justify, that’s what we work for anyway – right? Right?
Well, if you’ve gone a little overboard, so to speak, with your recent holiday spending, this family will make you feel a little better.
According to a recent report, between 2018 and 2019, the Royal family’s travel expenses totalled a cool $8.3million. And one couple in particular came out on top. And no, it’s not those much-watched newlyweds piling up the biggest bill.
It turns out the Prince of Wales and Duchess or Cornwall (best known as Charles and Camilla) spent the most in one year (approximately $2million) – with their Caribbean tour costing roughly $755,000 alone.
In second place? Queen Elizabeth II, whose travel bills came in at just under $2million. Feeling better about your long weekend blow-out now? You’re welcome.
