Fancy living like Mariah for a while? Expect fresh flowers daily, a private butler, a 280-bottle wine cellar and even an optional pianist on demand at this luxury penthouse stay.
For those who are less than willing to lift a finger on their next holiday, Cape Town’s newest penthouse ‘The One Above‘ is bound to pique your interests.
What makes this penthouse fit for Mariah types? Well, at One&Only’s new luxury accommodation, you can expect a 24-hour butler, fresh flowers brought to the penthouse each day, twice daily housekeeping services (at a time best suited to your schedule), a one-hour personal training session each day, garment pressing daily – and, a private chef to prepare and serve meals inside or at your private BBQ, or event catering for nights when you feel like entertaining.

You’ll also have access to a mixologist, ready to serve up cocktails, wine tasting and consultation with a sommelier, private or group fitness sessions in your private gym, and spa treatments.
Never fear, if you’re travelling a long distance, your kitchen and wine cellar can be stocked prior to your arrival. If you need restocking during your stay, your temperature-controlled wine cellar houses more than 280 bottles.

And, a pianist can be arranged upon request.
The two-floor stay features four guest rooms, three lounges, a stylish library, a quiet reading corner, a study with a fireplace, a gym, a sauna, a large kitchen (with a service entrance), a formal dining area, a breakfast and coffee area, an informal dining area, a relaxation lounge, two private pools and BBQ facilities. And, The One Above occupies the top of the resort, giving guests incredible views of Table Mountain and the city surrounds.
The One Above sleeps up to eight adults, an each bedroom offers a view of the mountains and private ensuite, so there’s no need to arrive on a first-in, best-room basis. That said, the master bedroom does feature a jacuzzi tub, fireplace and walk-in robe.

Rates for The One Above at One&Only Cape Town start from US$13,100 (just over AUD$19,000) per night, as of 2019.
