An off-grid, tourist-free oasis.

Vietnam has been graced with a decadent new resort, the Anantara Quy Nhon, that promises to be a bucket-list destination for travellers. As well as offering every facility and service you could dream up on a luxury vacation, the resort’s villas include a dedicated butler, wine cellar and delicatessen. You can even pick the scent of your room, with choices like refreshing lemongrass or calming green tea.
Set on nearly 16 acres of tropical gardens, the resort is made up of 26 one- and two-bedroom ocean-facing villas, each with their own wow-factor. Designed to blend into its natural surroundings, the resort uses locally sourced materials, melding traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design.

Food offerings range from the sophisticated to locally inspired street food. The swim-up bar serves Vietnamese craft beers and Cuban cigars. All-day dining outlet Sea Fire Salt offers a more refined dining experience, with guided wine tastings and local seafood. For an off-road dining experience, the resort offers a ‘Dining by Design’ concept with island picnics and fishing expeditions for luxury meals on the go.

If the view isn’t relaxing enough, head to the Anantara Spa for a deluxe treatment overlooking the bay. Think blissful massages and nature-inspired packages like coconut milk soaks in oversized bathtubs. The spa also hosts visiting wellness practitioners, allowing you to book one-on-one sessions with therapists in the holistic health field to round off your mind, body and soul experience.
You don’t have to look far for a dose of culture either, with the resort conveniently located in the Binh Dinh province, where local attractions include relics of the Champa civilisation and Buddhist pagodas.
