The rooms come in all shapes, sizes and forms, including gondolas, bubble tents, pods, tree houses, huts, tents, exposed beds, rooftops and more.
Experience wide open skies
Each one offers a spectacular view of some of Switzerlands most awe-inspiring landscapes and cityscapes, including a Penthouse on Lake Zurich, panoramic views from the Matterhorn to Mont Blanc from an altitude of 3,330 metres, a rooftop Bubble Suite in Zurich, Whitepod eco-luxury hotel in Monthey and the Berggasthaus Oberstockenalp star bed, among countless others.
Extraordinary and unique locations
The locations on show include mountains, lakes, rivers, and cities and each one has been hand-selected by the team at Switzerland Tourism for its extraordinary location and unique characteristics. Ranging from CHF80 (AUD $122) up to CHF800 (AUD $1233) per night for two people, each one of the magnificent stays also includes breakfast.
Switzerland awaits when restrictions ease
Sadly, the million stars hotels are only available to book until the end of October, so it remains to be seen whether Australians will be able to experience them in person this year, however we can all certainly dream about being there until international travel restrictions ease.
