With consistently great coffee, Café Integral is the perfect stop for breakfast or afternoon pastries and treats in a beautiful space.

One of my best friends heads up the kitchen and is producing some of the best food in the area. If you want casual Aussie food with healthy options, try classics like the smashed avo, or try their dinner menu which they started up recently. There’s also an outdoor seating area in summer time when you feel like a spritz. The guys who run it welcome you with that warm Aussie feel.

With cheap bowling and a bar open until 4am (which is late for Sydney siders) you can take your time with a bit of a pub-crawl. Our friend, who heads up Banter in NOHO, took us here on a pub-crawl which ended up being a little bit different to just drinking in a bar, and with about eight bowling lanes, you never have to wait long!

Beautiful food, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and a setting that is NYC through and through: if you’re into kitchens (i.e. you’re a chef) ask the team for a tour. The chefs are really friendly and are always up for showing off their workspace and well-thought out dishes. The food is clean eating, so you always leave satisfied with a balanced meal.

Known for appearances by Hannibal Burgess (which I was lucky enough to see while I was there), The Knitting Factory is a great mix of male and female comedians who are all ridiculously funny. It’s a great spot in Brooklyn for something a little bit different.

You won’t know where to begin because everything looks so tasty! Frankel’s is exactly what you expect from a Brooklyn Deli – tasty bagels, sandwiches and classic Jewish food. It’s a family-owned business that obviously knows bagels and NYC go hand in hand, so this is one you don’t want to miss. Just don’t go during lunch – it gets busy and you want a seat at the window to people-watch. Their potato latkes are made to order and are so tasty!
