Finders keepers.

Bargain hunters and lovers of Storage Wars, your time has arrived. After two very long years Sydney Airport’s Lost Property Auction has returned. Due to the dreaded C-word collectors and lovers of a discounted find have been starved of the opportunity to bid on the remains of an unfortunate traveller’s luggage.

But now that the pandemic is well and truly behind us, the auction is taking bids. Theodore Bruce Auctioneers will host the auction from February 5-12. More than 2,600 unclaimed items will be up for grabs with proceeds going to charity. This year’s money will be going to Bayside Women’s Shelter.

Bids will start from $5 and items will include laptops, headphones, cameras, sunglasses, handbags, jewellery, wine and a host of unique items like a hedge trimmer, outdoor lounge and even an air fryer.
