Bangkok’s accommodation offerings have just stepped up another notch with the recent announcement of the Ritz-Carlton’s arrival in town. And we think it might be time for some forward holiday planning.

Set to open in 2023, the 259-room tower hotel presents an ‘urban resort’ with a sophisticated design influenced by its locality.

With the rooms (and a handful of extra spacious suites) comes four restaurants and bars, a fitness facility, and a host of spa treatments across six treatment rooms, wet lounges, whirlpools, saunas and steam rooms.

There’ll also be a large ballroom – the largest of its kind in Thailand – for events on site.
