Bonza promised low-priced flights, but no one expected the savings to be this good. The low-cost carrier’s inaugural flight will be taking off on January 31 and travellers are now able to book flights to 12 destinations on 15 routes to some of Australia’s best regional destinations. 

Domestic one-way fares are starting from $49. Yes, you read that right. Bonza is taking the first step in delivering on its promise to make air travel more accessible, which is a relief to Aussies who’ve endured astronomical fare prices throughout 2022.

“It’s important that Aussie travellers know we’re on sale, not having a sale. We’re committed to low cost fares which will in turn, stimulate new markets for Australia’s domestic tourism industry. We’re confident whenever customers choose to travel, all our fares and not just our starting fares will represent great value,” says Carly Povey, Chief Commercial Officer at Bonza. 

Aussie travellers are advised to book directly on the Fly Bonza app to get the lowest fares and to score a seat on the airline’s first flights, starting with Sunshine Coast to Whitsunday Coast. Travellers will be able to lock away holiday plans for Easter, school holidays and long weekends with flights available to book up until late October 2023.

• Avalon: Fares starting from $79 per person one way, 3 flights per week
• Cairns: Fares starting from $79 per person one way, 5 flights per week

• Mackay: Fares starting from $59 per person one way, 3 flights per week
• Mildura: Fares starting from $79 per person one way, 2 flights per week
• Newcastle: Fares starting from $59 per person one way, 4 flights per week
• Port Macquarie: Fares starting from $49 per person one way, 2 flights per week
• Rockhampton: Fares starting from $49 per person one way, 3 flights per week
