One of the country’s most lavish eco-friendly resorts is in the midst of a million dollar refresh, that’s set to be unveiled on September 1.

Nestled on 45-acres of subtropical Byron Bay rainforest, Byron at Byron is set to unveil phase one of the $6 million dollar refurbishments on September 1, including a new dining offering that promises sustainable, local produce and aims to source over 80% of its ingredients from the surrounding areas.

The resort’s multi-million dollar refresh is being helmed by Suede Interior Design Principal Clifford Rip, and aims to ensure the Crystalbrook Collection’s ongoing commitment to of-the-moment sustainable luxury, including changes to integrate upcycled, recycled and locally sourced materials.

Phase two of the refresh will include updates to the Rainforest and Treetops suites and a new-look Eléme Day Spa, which will reopen in November.
