It’s Early Bird season (aka Christmas for travellers) and the first carrier to launch its international sale for flights to Europe in 2024 is Cathay Pacific. And the airline prices are going to be hard to beat. After a year of many travellers paying up to $3,500 for return tickets to Europe, Cathay Pacific’s sale prices will be a welcome relief to those looking to travel abroad without breaking the bank.
As of September 16, Hong Kong’s national carrier will be dropping its prices on return Economy flights to Europe to as little as $1678. That’s right! These ticket prices are on par with the cost of flights pre pandemic *breathes sigh of relief*. The Early Bird sale will go live online on the Cathay Pacific website from September 16 and via all other sales channels from September 18. The sale will end on September 30, unless sold out prior.
The travel period, from February 26 – July 31, 2024, includes peak northern hemisphere summer dates. And blackout dates, which apply to outbound flights only, are from March 29 – April 1, 2024, and June 8 – July 1, 2024.
