London's newest cultural precinct is now open

Coal-drops

And we're fearing for our credit cards' lives.

This week, London’s famed King’s Cross region has become home to an all-new cultlural, shopping and dining precinct: Coal Drops Yard.

Designed by Heatherwick Studio, the structure is as interesting as the 50 new stores and restaurants that now fill the space. The studio’s designers have reimagined the historic buildings and archways beside Granary Square on Regent’s Canal. Having been a former coal-processing site, the name Coal Drops Yard has stuck.
