John Paul Young was right all along.
To celebrate Valentine’s Day this year – and ensure love really is, as John Paul Young crooned, in the air – Emirates is set to serve up 40 unique sweet treats across its network.
Onboard offerings will get a romantic twist, with selection of enticing desserts (think white chocolate passion fruit cheesecake), and First Class provisions will feature limited-edition strawberry-and-cream-flavoured Lakrids liquorice.

From 13–15 February, guests in lounges throughout Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth can sample heart-shaped mud cakes, while those travelling through Dubai airport can indulge in treats from a full, decadent spread of desserts. Better yet, there’s be Moet & Chandon Rosé Impérial

And, all across the airline’s global route network, Valentine’s Day treats will include an orange-ginger panna cotta served with berries and pistachios in Hamburg; heart-shaped shortcake served with fresh strawberries and whipped cream in Cape Town; Chocolate and Raspberry petit fours in Auckland; a chocolate St Valentine’s cake in Narita; and chocolate-covered strawberries sprinkled with coconut in the lounges in the USA.
