Elvis Presley’s famous Graceland mansion is hosting a stack of new virtual tours and interactive experiences in honour of the first ever Virtual Elvis Week from August 8.
That’s right Elvis fans: it’s time to check out of Heartbreak Hotel and put on your virtual blue suede shoes, because tomorrow marks the start of the first ever Virtual Elvis Week.
Presley’s Graceland mansion in Memphis is giving its guests the chance to get closer to The King than ever before, with ten brand-new, utterly immersive virtual reality and augmented reality experiences, which come courtesy of some pretty state-of-the-art tech.

Some of the new virtual experiences include:
- Elvis: Front Row immersive “live” concert performance
- an interactive dance floor challenge to test your Elvis IQ
- AR gaming experience Eras of Elvis with a chance to meet your ideal version of The King
- virtual golf cart tours of the Graceland grounds
- Elvis Yourself virtual dress-up experience
- album cover and movie poster virtual photo booths
- Movie Match game, including an AR meet with one of Presley’s big screen characters
- AR serenade experience of Can’t Help Falling In Love on the set of Blue Hawaii
- On-stage AR serenade experience of Memories from Presley’s ’68 comeback special
On top of all that, there will be concerts, panels, bandmate and co-star interviews, brand new behind-the-scenes and archival content and tribute concerts. There will also be a live stream view of the iconic Candlelight Vigil – which is going ahead in a scaled-back fashion on August 15.
The Graceland mansion complex in Memphis celebrates Elvis Week in August of each year. Elvis Week 2020 will be the first-ever Virtual Elvis Week. It runs from Saturday, August 8 to Monday, August 16 2020.
