Talk about a room with a view
One of the seven natural wonders of the world will officially house two underwater suites, courtesy of Cruise Whitsundays. Taking the meaning of deep sleep to a whole new level, Reefsuites is set to launch this summer, marking an Australian first in underwater accommodation.
Each private suite showcases panoramic views of the reef’s marine life, with daily visitors including manta rays, turtles and tropical fish thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows and private glass ensuites, ensuring you can experience the magic of the reef from all angles.
Reefsuites is part of an $8 million redevelopment of the Cruise Whitsundays Reefworld Pontoon. The floating pontoon will also offer up a range of aquatic activities including underwater observatory access, semi-submersible tours, scuba diving and snorkelling.

From deep seas to starry nights, the renewed Reefsleep experience also allows guests to sleep under the stars on the pontoons top deck – we’re already packing our bags for a cosy swag, the ocean and a galaxy of stars.
Prices for the underwater suites start at $749pp, with the reefsleep experience starting at $525pp. The full Reefsuite experience includes a return cruise out to the reef, all meals and beverages, a selection of marine activities and overnight accommodation.
