It’s official, heaven really is a place on earth. Ahead of National Avocado Day on the 31st July, you’ll be able to book a stay at the world’s first avocado accommodation, known as the Avo-Condo. Courtesy of booking.com, the boutique stay will be popping up at Circular Quay for a limited time. 

The self-contained condo looks exactly like an avocado from the outside and is kitted out with avocado-themed furnishings inside. If the thought is making you hungry, you’ll be glad to know that guests will be treated to a hamper of avocado-themed goodies during their stay.

And the cherry tomato on top of the smashed avo? The luxurious brunch staple comes complete with a five-star view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

Not that we needed convincing, but the numbers show there’s really no better place for this iconic condo. Recent data from Avocados Australia found that Aussies can eat up to 3.5kg of avocados per person annually!

Coming in at $100 a night it’ll cost you roughly five servings of smashed avo toast, but we reckon it’s worth it.  Bookings will officially open at 9am on the 29th July through booking.com but the guac-style stay is only available for two nights (31st July and 1st August). So, avid avo fans need to be quick if they’re keen to live the ultimate millennial’s dream and experience this once-in-a-lifetime sleepover.
