Step right up. Step right up.

Sydney’s iconic amusement park, Luna Park, has revealed the jaw-dropping result of its $15m reimagining of Sydney’s Big Top. Come December 22, the immersive Dream Circus will launch under the Big Top.

What is an immersive Dream Circus you ask? Good question. It is a massive 3,000sqm multi-purpose entertainment venue that is kitted out in state-of-the-art projection technology, a spatially mapped audio system hologram technology, motion activated LED screens and the latest technology. Basically, a visual and audio explosion. Think a circus, meets holograms, meets a 3D light show.

“We are proud to build for Sydney, one of the most technically advanced environments in the country. The result will be a venue without equal – capable of featuring the best immersive experiences, never-before-seen immersive live music and special events” says John Hughes, CEO, Luna Park Sydney.

The new attraction will see Luna Park expand its offering, adds Mr Hughes: “As a world-class amusement park we need to be more than rides, and expanding our depth of offering through world-class immersive experiences will mean that Sydneysiders won’t have to travel the globe to experience these incredible environments. We want to be a reliable, magical, and affordable destination for all generations of Sydneysiders and visitors to our city”.

Sydneysiders have shown up in numbers when immersive exhibitions have been put on. Take the success of Frida Kahlo: The Life of An Icon and Van Gogh Alive, both of which filled IG feeds and FYP for months on end. So it’s no surprise that Luna Park is expecting more than 50,000 people this summer. So secure tickets now if you want to be first to see this spectacular show.

Tickets for the Dream Circus experience are priced at $35 for children and $45 for adults and can be purchased on the website or at the ticket box office at Sydney’s Immersive Big Top from 22nd December 2023. For more information or to book, visit lunaparksydney.com
