Game, set, match and retreat to a luxury suite.

While everyone is focused on the Australian Open (AO) action unfolding on the courts at Melbourne Park, we’re scoping out the best experiences off-court to indulge in. Cue: Marriott Bonvoy’s Hospitality Suite. The official partner for the AO has unveiled its lush suite at Melbourne Park, which is available to members, VIPs and special guests of Marriott.

The suite meets the level of luxury you’d expect from a Marriott hotel. It features a bar, an outdoor patio, plenty of TVs to catch the on-court action and artworks by Minna Leunig, a Geelong-based artist living and working on traditional lands of the Wathaurrong people. A true oasis from the hustle, bustle and heat that the AO is known for.

If you’re feeling peckish the menu will surely satisfy. Designed by some of Australia’s most coveted chefs – Adam D’Sylva, Massimo Mele and Guy Grossi – the menu includes Grossi’s Tortellini di zucca with pumpkin, brown butter and sage, Mele’s Polpette al sugo and D’Sylva’s Crumbed chicken slider. Consider our appetite whet.

Guests of the suite will also be treated to an exciting line-up of experiences. Think meet and greet opportunities with tennis legends, photo ops with the Norman Brooks and Daphne Akhurst trophies and the chance to meet former world number one and all-round Aussie legend, Ash Barty (yes, you read that right, the Ash Barty).

If you’re like us and consider yourself a tennis fan and food lover, we just found your new favourite spot.
