Looking to level up your culinary skills? You can now take online cooking classes with some of the world’s best-known chefs.
Booking platform Airbnb has partnered with culinary experience platform Take A Chef to allow home-chefs around the world direct access to classes with top-rated chefs – including Michelin-starred , Soo Ahn (Band of Bohemia) and Marc Favier (Marcore) – from the comfort of their very own kitchens.
Whether you’re looking to learn Roman Haute Cuisine with Glass Hostaria’s Cristina Bowerman, discover more about Food Pairings with Band of Bohemia’s Soo Ahn or take a masterclass in Mediterranean Seafood with Marc Favier of Marcore, the platform is designed to connect chefs through their love of food, regardless of their experience level.
“As a chef we connect with our guests through our food, but we don’t often have the chance to share and explore the stories behind dishes with diners directly. These online experiences give us the opportunity to do that,” said David Chang.
To kick off the launch, Chang, Edward Lee, Claudette Zepeda and Rōze Traore will each be teaching an online cooking experience, with all the proceeds from Chang’s One Pot Deliciousness, Zepeda’s Cauliflower Torta Tacos and Lee’s Summer Grilling Experience benefiting Lee’s Restaurant Reboot Relief Program, which is designed to help restaurants reopen post-pandemic.
