BRB, planning my Europe 2024 trip.
There’s no denying that this year was the ‘year of exorbitant flight ticket prices’, but 2024 is already looking to buck the trend and our bank account is breathing a sigh of relief. Scoring a return fare to Europe for $2k or less in 2023 would’ve been considered mission impossible, but not for flights in 2024.
Qatar Airways has just launched its online Black Friday sale and if you do your homework you can score a return ticket to Europe for $2k or less. As part of its biggest online sales event of the year, Aussie travellers can save up to 15% off flights to select destinations when using the code BF23 for departures from Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
Here’s an example of how to get the most out of this sale. If you find a fare that is normally around $2,300 return and is part of the sale and valid for the 15% discount the price of the fare will drop to $1,955. An absolute steal!
The sale will go live on November 21, 2023 at 9am local time and end on November 28, 2023 and will include travel to select destinations across Qatar Airways’ global network, such as Greece, France, Italy, Germany, England and more. The special offer is available for travel between November 21, 2023 and October 31, 2024. You can thank us later.

The Qatar Airways Black Friday Sale period is from 21-28 November 21-28, 2023. The travel period on sale flights is from November 21, 2023 – October 31, 2024. The sale flights are valid for travel originating from: Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. Flights eligible for the fare discount are clearly signalled with a sales tag next to them. Please ensure only flights eligible for the discount are selected when booking. For more information or to book, visit
