Get yourself tickets for an adrenalin-fuelled summer event on Sydney Harbour.
If you’re a fan of things with a fast-and-furious leaning, then Sydney’s first ever SailGP could be the event for you. Held over two days, on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 February, you can now bag yourself a seat among the prime viewing action for an afternoon of on-water racing.
Coined as ‘sailing redefined’ and the Formula 1 of sailing, SailGP will see international teams from Great Britain, Australia, Japan, China, France and the USA battle it out for their countries as they race down Sydney harbour in supercharged F50 catamarans.
In the middle of the action, Shark Island will be the hotspot for fans to enjoy the afternoon. As well as watching the adrenalin-packed victory dash live on the water, there will be big screens and commentary, as well as tunes from the island’s DJ.
Tickets include transfers from Man O War steps and access to a premium open bar on the island, plus a dedicated Pimms bar to get revellers into the summer mood. Guests will also enjoy a gourmet food hamper, which includes a charcuterie plate with truffled salami and marinated olives, mini bento boxes with Peking duck pancakes, salads, cheeses, dips and fresh Sonoma sourdough.
