You might not know to look at it, but the new collection from luggage brand Samsonite has been fashioned from some unexpected materials. And, it’s bringing eco-friendly products to the fore.

The Spark SNG Eco is made from recycled fabric, engineered entirely from recycled PET plastic bottles and cork. The fabric, aptly named Recyclex™, is a durable and reliable material that’s created from post-consumer plastic waste. You’ll notice the lining of the suitcases feature a little clue as to the material’s past life.

And, with more and more travellers opting for eco-friendly holidays, avoiding overtourism in popular destinations, and aiming to leave nothing but footprints behind, it only makes sense that consumers will be seeing planet-friendly travel accessories in future.
