Discerning jet-setters, listen up.
For too long, Australian travellers have lusted over the chic luggage pieces of luxury travel brand Away – weighing up the costs of international postage. But now, those days are over: this weekend Away will host its official launch in Australia.
And, to celebrate, the brand has partnered with Australian entrepreneurs to create three-day event and space Origin: Away, featuring inspiring talks, travel chat, and pop-up shopping opportunities.

On site – at 17 Oxford Street Paddington, Sydney from Friday 14 to Sunday 16 June – visitors can stop by to shop the full line of suitcases, travel accessories and personal items in their signature variety of colours and materials for the discerning jet-setter.
“It’s a space that will celebrate the transformative power of travel and some of Australia’s leading entrepreneurs alongside Sydney locals,” says Jen Rubio, co-founder of Away.
During the event, business leaders who have built successful companies and brands abroad will return to tell their stories. Origin: Away will present a curated marketplace – where stalls have been designed to represent each entrepreneur’s brand.
Doors will open Friday 3–7pm, and Saturday and Sunday 10am–4pm. For full details and the line-up of speakers, visit Eventbrite.
