The La Rosière resort in the French Alps has announced that one of their hotel rooms will be transformed into a chocolate orange homage for Christmas. It’s welcome news for those choccy fans who love nothing you love more than tucking into a Terry’s chocolate orange.
The La Rosière resort is perched 1,900 metres above sea level, offering expansive views of the snow-covered slopes, but if you manage to snag a reservation in their coveted chocolate orange room, you won’t have any shortage of things to stare at.

The chocolate orange room is designed to bring the Terry’s chocolate orange experience to life, including giant chocolate orange wedges hung above the bed, unmistakable orange and blue upholstery inspired by the brand’s iconic packaging and even wallpaper that’s said to be an exact replica of the chocolate orange’s foil wrapper.

But that’s not all, the room’s writing desk is modelled after a massive block of chocolate, a personalised Christmas stocking comes filled to overflowing with choccy orange goodness and even the toilet paper is scented.

“If you run out of chocolate, and trust us, it’ll be a challenge, just order some more from the VIP menu,” promises the resort’s announcement. “Hot chocolate orange, chocolate orange desserts, more chocolate oranges, it’s all available to keep your hunger happy.”

They’ve even designed a chocolate orange-inspired Christmas tree, complete with edible chocolate orange baubles.
There’s no word on the opening date as yet, due to the room’s location at Club Med’s new resort property in France, however the room looks set to be priced at around $170.00 per person, per night.

And if you think you can stand that colour scheme for longer than 24 hours (in which case, props to you) then there are all-inclusive packages available for longer durations, starting with a seven-night stay priced from around $2,300.00.
