Just wait til you see who came in first.
Sydney is kicking goals this week, taking the title of fourth safest city in the world for travellers. Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection (BHTP) has revealed its annual State of Travel Insurance Safest Destinations report, ranking the world’s 15 safest cities to travel.
Beating out Sydney came Reykjavik third place, Montreal in second, and Honolulu in first place.
To determine these rankings, BHTP analyses a combination of the State of Travel Insurance survey responses compiled in September from travellers who have been to the destinations along with several third-party data sources that combine safety concerns like terrorism, weather emergencies, health measures and the safety of underrepresented groups.
