Some delicious. decision making awaits.
This week Tasting Australia, the beloved South Australian festival that gathers together chefs, epicureans and, naturally, great food, announced its full line-up of food and drinks to be served at its bustling Town Square.
Opening on Friday April 5, 2019, the festival’s Town Square is a mingling of cultures and big flavours that is free to enter. This year’s theme sees small plates brought to the fore, with 14 food stalls and five bars on site. Better yet, many small plates will be available for less than $10.
Top Adelaide-based chef Jock Zonfrillo will open ‘Jock’s Chok Shack,’ a sophisticated spin on a hot chicken and ships shop, while Front Bar will recreate the classic Aussie pub vibes with a pinball machine and pool table.
Ragini Dey will serve up an Indian version of the South Australian classic pie floater and La Popular Taqueria will be present soft tacos made to order on their tortilla press. There’ll be woodfired pizza, flaming Bombe Alaska desserts, and so much more. And, it’ll be open from lunchtime until late.
The Town Square will be open until April 14, 2019. For more information about what you can expect to taste at the Town Square, visit the Tasting Australia website.
